A Fishy Business provides affordable and sustainable freshwater aquarium service to over 100 homes and businesses across North Carolina. We are currently accepting new customers in Asheville, the Triangle, and Greenville, NC.

We take pride in prioritizing sustainable practices to minimize both cost and environmental impact. Our animal-first approach ensures ethical care while eschewing many traditional expenses, making freshwater aquariums--and our service--accessible to individuals and institutions with a range of needs and budgets. We seek to educate and empower our customers, and provide a vastly different experience than typical, retail-driven pet stores.

We service aquariums from 10 to 10,000 gallons, and have cared for nearly every variety of commercially available freshwater fish over the course of 20 years. Our customers include the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Duke University, NC State University, and a range of hospitals, retirement communities, classrooms, medical offices, and private residences.
